- Dolby. Major changes took place in the company, with Ray Dolby stepping down as Chairman, and CEO Bill Jasper announcing his retirement.
- Paramount’s VPF offer. System integrators are not only unhappy, but the public nature of the offer is causing problems overseas. The jury is out as to whether Paramount’s action is helping to install more 3-D screens, or hurting it.
