March 2012 by Michael Karagosian

  • They say one knows when a technology is succeeding when the porn industry adopts it. Moving beyond mere 3-D, Stephen Shiu, the producer of 3D Sex and Zen, announced plans for a 4-D sequel with “vibrating seats.” D-Box cinemas, you’re going to score 🙂
  • Making up for the wrath caused by its predecessor, Wrath of the Titans is receiving good press for its 3-D. Just goes to show that a conversion that takes most of a year is going to look a lot better than one done in 6 weeks.
  • Jim Cameron stole press from the opening of Titanic 3-D by taking an astonishing recording setting 6.8 mile dive into the Marianas Trench. The scientific press is disappointed that no samples were taken, but given the preceding activity at Cameron-Pace, you can bet he brought back plenty of 3-D footage.
